nyc marathon: cut to the chase

at last, the 2009 ing nyc marathon is over. i grew quite anxious to "get it over with" the past few weeks; i guess i got a little burnt out. it sure sounded like i had quite a few stalkers yesterday! i enjoyed being stalked-it helped me press on knowing you were "right there behind me".

briefly, here are my stats:

3:33:02 / 8:08 pace
a 6:22 pr
184 age group
794 females
5897 overall

full recap to follow. for now i gotta enjoy an extra day off work!

marathon #7 down and out.

Great job on the PB, I knew you could do it. Even though you got a bit burnt out you've been training real hard and all of that was in you. Great run.

Congrats on the well-deserved PR! I can't wait to hear about the whole experience — hopefully, you felt at least good enough to appreciate the awesomeness of the race, the spectators, etc. The best part about this run: Your body's going to remember this when Boston rolls around in the spring. I predict another PR then, if I may be so bold!
