OMG, congrats on the no more hotels thing! I have to admit, I am seriously jealous of that! Sigh. But hey, if you want to pay me to do your grocery shopping or something, I'll totally do it! I love grocery shopping! And holy crap do I need money . . . :)

Wow, it must be nice to be in an apartment now! My hat is off to you for putting up with hotel living as long as you did. That would drive me batty!

i am a master at eating out of a toaster oven and microwave (from med school). you can make pretty good stuff with just those things. add a slow cooker in and you are GOLDEN.

How funny ... I get almost frantic when I can't plan my meals to a T by grocery shopping, eating at home, etc. ... but your blog post was a reminder that it's really a matter of what we're used to. I don't dislike eating out so much as I dislike change.

It's refreshing and healthy to see the emphasis on "little" for running — the pros give themselves "off seasons" to let their bodies and minds recover, and we should, too!

Glad to hear you're commute is less now and you're out of a hotel. I know what its like living in a hotel ... but since you're commute is less, that means there is more time to run now, right? ;=)

I agree with the slow cooker comment. They are the greatest. You can turn the crappiest cut of meat into a mouth watering roast after 12 hours in one of those!
I couldn't imagine not having done any shopping or cooking since february.
No wonder you get such high totals for a week for running-you don't have to spend any time in the kitchen!!
